The Regenbogental therapy centre supports children and families in crisis and bereavement situations as well as children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. The diverse range of therapies on offer promotes individual strengths and creates new perspectives. It includes animal-assisted programmes with horses, llamas, goats, rabbits, cats, chickens and dogs, bodywork, music and art therapy, grief work and psychotherapy. Families in acute situations also receive inpatient care.
Easily accessible in Leobersdorf, south of Vienna, the young clients can expect an adventure forest, indoor and outdoor therapy areas, direct access to the river and plenty of opportunities for exercise, with and without animals, on a total of 3.5 hectares.
It is important to make this programme available to all children and families - even those who cannot afford it financially. Regenbogental is a non-profit organisation and therefore relies on support from donations. Regenbogental celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2024.
