Professional Career

During his education at the secondary technical school HTL Mödling Sebastian Ronge gained a comprehensive insight into various branches of the technical world and after completing his training as a mechatronics engineer he quickly found his way into the family business, which happened to expand at this very time to include the technical part of an engineering office. Sebastian soon developed an intense interest in the engineering side of our business, which turned into a real passion and it quickly became clear that the field of kitchen planning would determine the professional career of the young technician.

Sebastian Ronge also made good use of the time he spent in military service, where he enjoyed training as a paramedic with the Austrian Armed Forces. During this time he was able to acquire hands-on knowledge about spheres of life outside of technology through his practical work with the Red Cross. However, kitchen technology had already captivated him and, in addition to this task with the Austrian Armed Forces, he dedicated every free minute to supporting kitchen planning and consulting projects in the family business. This fuelled his passion for the family business and, above all, for the technology used in industrial kitchens.

Ensuing his internal training at the company, Sebastian Ronge was entrusted with his first large projects, which he handled on his own responsibility. Within a very short period of time Sebastian’s relentless dedication significantly reduced the burden on the management. After having attained the responsibility for the central and hospital kitchens department, his profile rose rapidly throughout the industry and his expertise as a kitchen planner increased remarkably quickly due to his intense interest.

In 2018, Sebastian Ronge was granted power of attorney for both companies in the family business and took on his first management tasks in the planning branch of the company. In order to also excel in the management tasks, Sebastian Ronge completed a two-year, in-service diploma training at the NLP Academy in Vienna and successfully completed it with the master and trainer diploma.

This was followed by the accreditation as engineer and the successful completion of the entrepreneurial examination, which ultimately led to the position as legal representative managing director under Austrian commercial law of IB Ronge Stria GmbH in 2021. In this capacity Sebastian Ronge currently manages the planning branch of the company operationally and on his own authority.
